As much as I'd rather not go out today, I'll have to make a trip to the office at church to give Fr. Preston Irma's check. I was bursor yesterday and she gave me the check she forgot to put in the collection to include in yesterday's total. I folded it and put it in my pocket along with my phone. I forgot about it while Lori and I were doing the count and didn't discover it until I got home, I was taking my phone from my shirt pocket and lo and hehold, Irma's check came out with it.

I woke after ten hours of sound sleep (probably facilitated by sraightening out my concerrns with the mortgage company.

The weather forecast for the weekend.

A clear indication that I must get back on the diet that keeps this under control.

Today is physical therapy day. I haven't heard from Dr. Ricky yet. He usually sends a text the day before.
I'm still searching for the run-a-way letter written by Dr Oni at the clinic explaining why I qualify for a residence mail box rather than have my mail delivered to the cluster box.

That trash onthe sidewalk has been there for over a month now which means I have to approach the cluster box from the treet.

I got around to contacting Mr. Cooper. The escrow shortage is due to a difference in terms that took place when the mortgage was bought by those shysters. Ill make up the difference with next months payment and continue to pay off the unpaid principle as fast as I can.

A surprising number, considering I deliberately did not eat anything after 1700hrs yesterday. I expected it to be lower, at least in the target range.

I spent most of the day looking for two critical documents I'll need to retrieve the eight hundred dollars Mr. Cooper took from the escrow account to pay property taxes on this property. The property is exempt because I claim a homestead exemption and as a veteran designated as one hundred percent disabled from wounds received for which I received a Purple Heart. I found the VA letter confirming my disabilty status, one is sent at the first of each year.The Statement of exemtion from the tax office, also sent at the beginning of each year, has eluded my capture. I'll call the tax office in the morning to see if I can get a replacement.

I woke after eight hours of sound dream active sleep.

I didn't want to get out of bed, but rather turn over and go back to sleep. The weather forecast is one of a stay at home week.

This number will go back down tomorrow.

Well, I don't have to woory aout bringing William to church next Easter. His comment on the way home yesterday was, "That was my fist Easter in church and it will be my last." I was going to try attending the 1030hrs Mass. As I approached the doors to the nave and looked in to see wall to wall, shoulder to shoulder, people my throat startd to close, hands started trembling, and my ability to focus on moving in the direction I intended, I turned back to the parish hall to sit down and "collect myself." I had a conversation with Nancy Smith about people who drink and drive. I related the story of my cousin Bonni's son who was killed by a drunk driver who jumped the curb, onto the sidewalk, and ran over Scott.

It will be raining with thunderstorms here all day (if not all week). The first power outage happened about five minutes ago. Thankfully it didn't last but a few seconds. Also, thankfully, the battery power back-up I finaly got around ot purchasing and installing worked so the Internet connection wasn't lost.If thoutage lasts longer htan five or so minutes I have ample time to power down the computer so it doesn't require a reset of all the preferences I have it set up for.

Nathan called to apologize for his lengthy late night call Thursday night. He's doing well and staying with his brother until things get straightened out. he invited me to visit him and his family in Florida. I don't see thast happening.

It's another "church day (Holy Saturday). I'll attend the prayer servioce ifI can park close enough. Saturday is also Market Day so tyhe handicapped parking on the side of the parish hall is blocked off, and the parking lots accross the stree are usually filled with market goers vehicles.

I don't have a lot of free time today. Dr Ricky is coming for physical therapy around 1030hrs. I still hope to make it to stations of the cross at church at noon and then I'm scheduled to bring Wuilliam to church for Good Friday payers at 1500hrs. I didn't make it to Staions of the Cross, but was able to bring William to the afternoon service.There was a veneration of the cross opportunity which I passed on this year. and attendees wre able to self commune from the reserved sacrament. I stayed in the pew and let Fr. Travis bring the Baptist Bread tto me. I call it that when he replaces the traditional wafer with home baked bread ( I guess it's a Baptist thing).
I "dragged ass" all day as the sound sleep I got came only after a three hour phone call from Nathan, a friend from my life in Columbus, GA. He had to vent and, surprisingly, I do know when to keep my opinions and advice to myself and listen. He came home from work to find his significant other had taken all his clothes, some personal items and left him. Nathan is not the type man who cries (out loud) so the call was very disturbing. Also very diisturbing is how he got my cell phone number. The last time we talked I called him on the land line I had when I first moved to Texas to let him know I had moved. He and Kevin had moved to Florida in the 1980s after their ETS from the army. In 1993 they were "married"(before it was legal). I tol Nate I'd be his best man, but was unable to attend because it was at the same time my mom died and I had to meet obligations in Massa chusetts.

Last night's veteran's meeting went well.
Went to Scrabble at church this morning and met one of Fr. Travis' newest cat friends.

She came down from the porch and jumped up into my vehicle. The window was open and she saw me eating a sausage, cheese, and egg croissant from Burger King. Everytime I took a bite from my breakfast she took a bite from the opposite side. Really I sweaer, it was the cutest thing! After Scrabble ( I scored second highest) I finally managed to return the package delivered by mistake to my address to the post office.
