I haven't much on the agenda today other than vacuum, dust, dishes, and laundry. I attended the contemplative morning prayer yesterday and I sexpressed my gratitude to Donna Box for leading the service. In some respects it reminded my of the Wednesday lenton services of my adolesence. Missing was any structure (it was supposed to be the rite one service inthe BCP) But without recited prayer and psalms it was more limited to a few passages from scripture with moments of silence in between. If I remember correctly the only prayers offered were the Lord's Prayer and the collect for grace. I suggested to Donna that she might find it bneficial to follow the structe of morning prayer in the The Venite app It's the structure I use every morning and the one I provide a link to every day, here in the blog.

At1515hrs.- It's been a pretty productiveday so far.

I voted in the Democratic Primary this morning.

After that I stopped in at the bank and deposited the mortgafe refund check from Mr. Cooper.
I called my brother to see if was still planning on voting tomorrow. Thanfully he said hwe wasn't going to "up for it."
The mveteran's meeting at church went well. Eloy was on time after his funeral duties were finished in Houston. there was a good turn-out (5).

I'm glad I stopped at the cluster box yesterday to get the mail. The esrow refund check from Mr. Cooper arrived and I plan on taking it to the bank this morning. I worked with Maureen Herbst for the first time yesterday. She was the VPOD and I was the bursar. Next week are jobs will be reversed. She's very understanding about "holding down the fort" while I leave to transport William back and forth to church. Counting the contents of the collection went without a hitch.
During the early coffee clatch a comment I made about fr. Travis preaching from the pulpit or the center aisle in the nave was well received. I expressed the opinion that when he's in the pulpit he's presenting a dissertation to his professors and when he preaches from the aisle he's having a conversation with the people. I shared the same opinion with William, who'd rather the sermon be delivered from the pulpit, but I don't think it softened his criticism. As he said, it's an age thing. I can understand that. There're many quirks I have about the conduct of the clergy and people that I carry from my years in the church where I was confirmed. The first being the abandonment of the chasbule during the Eucharist (which seeems to be a practice at many parishes as indicated from watching online streams) but what really grinds my butt is parishioners leaving the pews and ad running all over the nave during the peace. I expressed myself to Lee and Donna thus, "Excuse me for being such an Episcopalian, but the peace is part of the liturgy not a bell announcing recess. It's the same boneI gnaw on about people who are so inconvenienced by worship that they can't sit quietly or even pray or meditate prior to the start of the Mass, but istead chatter away with each other like they're waiting for the movie to start at the cineplex.

I woke after six hours of tumultuous sleep. 😾😴🙎‍♂️

Before going to bed last night I was having a hypoglycemic event.🙎‍♂️

I calmed things down with the usual three t-spoons of peanut butter, a glass of milk and the remainder of the blueberries I had been having with cereal in the morning.I woke this morning to a good number.😺❤️🩺👍

I don't know if it was the bluberries, peanut butter, or milk but, at about 2200hrs I woke to a fecal tsunami that necessitated a shower, change of underwear, stripping the bed linens and heading for the laundry room. The mattress pad prevented a mattress disaster and it was the first to be washed and sanitized. At 0300hrs the sheets were next (thy're currently in the dryer)followed by the blanket (currently in the wash). It's going to be a long day. I'm still feeling a bit queasy.

At 1530hrs - It looks as if theonly accomplishment today will be laundry and watever is at the bottom of the dish tub in the sink. I think it's all forks, knoves, asnd spoons.
At 1630hrs- I wscheduled all the bills for March with the exception of tjhe electric company. I plan on switching companies as soon as I finnd a cheaper rate from a company that also has a fixed billing cycle.

We were under a tornado warning until 2100hrs yesterday. When I went to leave for church at 0445hrs I had to retrieve the trash bin from the middle of the street. Thankfully, Sydney shoveled all the trash back into the bin this afternoon. The weather conditions when I woke and the forecast for today.☁️☀️👍

Church was "good" this morning. I brojke the fast before Mass rul (self directed) and stopped at McDonald's for an egg mcmuffin and coffee before going to Kroger. The cinimon coffee cake creamer was on sale (two for $9.00) so I bought an extra for Doc Carpenter because it's her faorite. While at Kroger I bought some stuff for Mr. Mistofellees, hence the $94.00 chasrge to AMEX.

Pam, a lifelong member o Holy Comforter and past librarian for the schookl and clerk of the vestry is at a loss accepting changes in her life. First the school was closed because it lost it's las qualified teacher to retirement, then she was replaced as clerk of the vestry.
