For those so inclined, The Daily Office Morning Prayer

It's election day. My mail ballot was received on October, 9. I am so glad I do not have to stand in line listening to the ill-informed argue with the non-informed. Being the only one who truly knows what's going on, and why, being in that situation is genuinly frustrating. /sarc.

The day is starting on a positive !

My blood glucose reading should be between seventy and one hundred ten. So while this looks high, it's such a relief after a week or two of trying to get it below one hundred fifty.

Today is also the day veterans with PTSD experiences meet at the church for an evening of healing and growth. Next Monday is Veteran's Day. As a veteran who is also a "peacenick" I view the hyped-up rah rah give vets a free meal at their favorite buffet as just snother device to influence younger men to gear up for the next armed conflict politicians and the arms contractors devise to line their pockets and campaign "war chests."
