For those so inclined; The Daily Office Morning Prayer
Still not good. I've got to do a better job of managing my blood sugar. Seriously, my father lost his legs to diabetes.

Here's to praying away the rain while I travel to church this morning.
Either my payers were answered or it wasn't going to rain anway. Extra nice was the low humidity that saved me the task of wiping the windshield and side windows before driving. The humidity is usually so high this close to the coast that until the sun comes up it's like trying to drive or breath at the bottom of a swimming pool.
The routine of ordering the muffins delivered on Friday on Saturday works out well. I overestimated the savings at mcDonald's. I usually only bought a coffee to drink while waiting for Walmart to open. It's only on days my blood sugar is low that I eat before receiving communion. Still, it's nicer to have that extra thirty to firty-five minutes at home.

Fr Travis has a cold and was runnning a low fever today so Fr Preston was the celebrant. His thoughts on "until this generation passes away" when Jesus was speaking of the destruction of the temple and his return were a different take than I'm used to hearing. In his reading of the passage he views the this generation as referring to the Jews and that attempts by many powerful forces in history have been unable to accomplish that feat. Um, he did skip the Sasnctus during Mass, Im trusting no one in attendance will be rude enough to say anything about that.

I'm patting myself on the back for resisting a stop at HEB on the way home for a pint of HEB Creamy Creations Creme Brulee, not to mention any of my other favorite flavors.
