William left a voice mail yesterday to let me know he won't be going to church today. It's raining now, and showers are expected throughout the day. Neither of us have a way of getting from a building to a vehicle without getting wet. I walk with a cane in my right hand and my left hand has neither the strength or control to hold an umbrella. William walks with two canes for balance. I considered buying rain gear to wear on days like this but the church doesn't have coat racks or a coat room. I'm pretty certain that the pew cushions aren't waterproof. Since it'll probably be raining when I leave for church I won't be stopping at walmart. Hopefully there're enough different flavor coffee creamers left from last week. Four apple turnovers and some mini croisaints will have to do. I ordered apple and cherry croissants yeasterday, but Walmart was out of the cherry. There were three containers of muffins in the church fridge when I checked during the veteran's meeting. Maybe there're still some left.
