From my Email inbox this morning; After Getting Trump Elected, Media Demands Democrats Protect Press Freedom
In the event the article has been removed or the link expired, this; "The United States is ranked 55th on the 2024 edition of RSF’s World Press Freedom Index, a historic fall of 10 places from the year before. The erosion of American press freedom is due, in part, to declining trust in the media, threats and violence against journalists, and stalled legal reforms. RSF also recently highlighted some of the more localized problems surrounding press freedom in a recently published report, which found severe shortcomings in the economic, political, and safety situation for journalists in key swing states which could affect the election.
Press freedom is a serious issue, which is why the corporate media's behavior during the 2024 election year was so disappointing. At the direction of their billionaire and corporate owners, the media normalized and equalized convicted felon Donald Trump with Democratic rivals. However, they also withheld endorsements from the Democrats and sent an implicit message of support for Trump." And to this I add a hearty Amen!
Also in thie inbox this morning a link to a story in The Atlantic ‘Dumbed-Down Catholicism Was a Disaster’" This link enables free reading of an article printed in The Atlantic Magazine. I bought a copy of the Word on Fire edition of the new testament a couple years ago. I've been on the institutes mailing list at least that long.7nbsp;There's another volumne of the Bible containing the old testament. I may purchase it for the comentary.
