I woke after twelve hours of intermitent sleep (tossing and turning).
Yesterday's visit with Dr. Ricky went well. He said it appears I'm getting stronger on my left side. We didn't do much other than toe push ups and leg lifts. I told him I got my walking in at Kroger at 0600hrs. Mr. Mistoffelees was gtting stressed out about the state of his litter box, which was stressing me out. At 0530hrs I got dressed and took the kitchen trash out, put the cart in the back seat of the Mercury, and headed out for Kroger. Because I use the cart and the railing on the ramp for balance I forgot to go back to the house for my cane. I arrived at Kroger around 0545hrs and parked as close as I could. The walk to the front door was and adventure in maintaining balance. I ended up sitting in one of the electric carts until a worker on her way into the store gave me a cart I could use. I ended up spendin $59.97 on two containers of litter, a variety of Temptations treats for Mr. Mistofellees, and a loaf of Keto bread. The kicker about the cat litter is that an auto shipment of the stuff is due to arrive today.A member of the vestry stuck his head into the meeting room during the veteran's meeting Tuesday. Eloy noticed that he has lost weight and asked if he was on a diet. He responded that he was on the carnivore diet. I'm not sure I want to go down that road, seeing as humans are omnivores. I've lost thirty pounds by eliminating sugar and limiting carbs, and eating small meals throughout the day.
