I woke after seven or eight hours of sound sleep. The weather forecast.A nymber at the high end of the target range.🙎♂️
yesterday was an OK day, except for the tift I had with my older brother. He called me twice, wanting me to rush on over to the nursing home to take him to his house for the afternoon.I told him I'd rather Sidney use the car after I got home to give him a ride to his house. His grunt, in response, was meant to encourage me to change my mind and I went off on him. I told him to be patient, buck up, be the marine he always claims to be and stoop whinning like a baby. His response was, "you're not living my life!"" to which I replied we'll talk later, and hung up. Later came and I noticed that Garion and Grace were at his house, meaning Guinevere and Benjimin would go from energetic (loud and shrill) toddler play and end up screaming and crying. I stayed away and went to bed early.
Linda Gana was at church yesterday, though she's still on the parish prayer list, which I good sign for her recovery from back surgery.
There're signs on several streets along the Southern Pacific tracks through the neighborhoods just north of here. At 0430hrs there's an energetic engineer blasting his horns as he goes through manuvers at the yard that I can hear at least three miles away.🤣
I picked up the mail yesterday on the way to church. The Keppra finally arrived. I ran out of the 1000 milligram tablets so I was using up some left over 750s.
I talked with Barbara Marin after the 0830 Mass, and asked about her husband Ray. He's still experiencing some pain in his throat (cancer treatments) so he's eating via a feeding tybe beause it's too painflu to swallow. Ray is "good people%quot;.He was the bailiff at the veterans court when I was still mentoring veterans going through the program. It's difficult to witness bad things happenning to good people.
