I woke after nine hours of restful sleep.😴😊✔️
The severe weather has yet to show up in this area.&nbsb;Instead I was engulfed in a wave of nostalgia and naps. Even though it isn't yet Halloween, I took a trip down meory lane, closing my eyes and enjoy visions of walking from the last house we lived in in East Hartford, and walking to church on still snow covered sidewalks. Vivid memories of Christmas displays in the windows of Anderson Jewlers, Woolworth's, and the card shop on the screen in my mind lulled me to sleep. It means I'll be rushed tomorrow morning while getting ready for church, but it is what it is.
The flash flood warning has shifted from today to early tomorrow morning. I just sent a text to William asking what service, if any, he plans to attend tomorrow.
