I'm truly not in the mood for Scrabble today. I'll text the group and let them know.
Last night's meeting centered on moral injury one might experinece during their time in service. It was helpful, I think. A new member was welcomed into the group.
It's 1936hrs, way past my usual bedtime, and I'm still wondering why I agreed, during a phone conversation with fr. Travis, to take on another term as junior warden at church.
As it turned out Doc carpenter and Anne also couldn't make it to Scrabble this morning. I called Cathy this afternoon to apologize for not letting her know what was going on. She said she understood and had spent time with Ashley at Creekside Nursing Home with her travel edition Scrabble game. She said that during her visit with Ashley he's been thinking of giving up his apartment and residing there instead. I think that would be a good idea. He's been experiencing more medical issues of late and not having to call 911 every time they present would get him to the carwe he needs in a more timely fashion. I think it would also relieve some of the stress his parents have knowing that he has 24/7observation and care.
