It's "Java Jive Day" at church so I'll start the morning playing Scrabble with Suz Han, Cathy, and Anne. Afterwards I'l try to go to the Verizon store and get a new phone and Walmart for new socks and household essntials. I should stop by the transmission repair shop and have them check the transmission in the Mercury. It could be something as simple as a "sensor thing" (the tire presssure sensor has created a fault) or another headache bill before the end of the year. Either way I've got to go the refular shop for the yearly inspection and registration.
Last night's veteran's meeting was poorly attended with only me, Eloy, and Fred attending. The veteran I upset at the meeting on the 4th has informed Eloy that he'll not be returning. The others are all from Pearland and as there was no court yesterday they probably didn't want to drive all the way to Angleton for an optional meeting.
