I woke after eight hours of sound sleep.πΊπ΄πThe current conditions and today's weather forecast.πΊ☀️πNot where I want this number, but it's coming down.πΎπ♂️❤️π©Ί
Both the locations i normally take the Mercury for inspection are closed on Saturdays so I'll wait until Monday. I'll keep the paperwork in the car in case I get pulled over tomorrow going back and forth to church.
The remainder of the month is going to be very tight, finacially, as I made Januarys' mortgage payment by mistake yesterday.
I'm going to check out the credit card offer from USAA Monday It's one of those transfer your balance and pay zero interest for twelve months deals. The Bank Of America Visa card is the only one on which I carry a balance. Since adding $2500 to the card this year for a water heater, washing machine, Mercury repairs and a full year insurance premium for the Mercury it's important that I be able to pay off the new balance without interest charges.
I noticed Fr. Travis has had a sudden weight gain at Thursdays' vestry meeting. He had been losing weight and "firming up".After the meeting I inappropriatly cautioned him in the company of others about it by telling him the next twenty-seven years are going to go by faster than he realizes and he doesn't want to end up like me. I need to keep those type comments to myself. As a seventy-seven year old diabetic who needs to ccall 911 for a lift assist to get off the floor when I fall I find mysel frequently cautioning younger men to stay in shape and manage their weight. I don't want to wish tingling feet (the threat of amputation) and daily blood glucose monitoring on even my worst enemy. My father died in the hospital after both his legs were amputated below the kknee because of diabeties. The memory of his last phone call to me, begging to come get him out of the hospital, is not a memory I want to become a reality for the sons of the men I know.
