The only task I accomplished yesterday were washig dishes and bringing the trash bin from the curb. At least the trash bin is back at the end of the ramp and the lid is closed. It's been raining most of the night and had the lid stayed open the bin would have water a least a foot deep, making it too heavy to move easily.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and the faucets on dribble tonight in hope the outdoor pipe doesn't freeze.
The supply pipe from the meter is wraped and insulated.  But with most of the underpinning blown to the four corners of the globe since hurricane Berle the portion of the pipe under the house is somewat exposed. 'Tis my fault, 'tis my most grevious fault for not either replacing the vinyl underpinning, or having it replaced with brick underpinning. I had a mason give me an estimate of replacing the vinyl wityh brick and it was $6000 two years ago. I don't want to waste money replacing the vinyl (that gets blown away everytime the wind picks up) and I don't have the money to "brick it in".
