For those so inclined, The Daily Officem Morning Prayer
I woke after seven hours of restlerss sleep.π΄πΎThe weather conditions and forecast for today. ☀️πΎStarting the day with a good number.πΊπ©Ί❤️πThe veteran's meeting last night was poorly attended. More dissapointing was that the facillitator would not adjourn the meeting early so that we could join the festivities for the burning of the greens. I thought it would be an opportunity for the parishioners, who've done so much to make them feel welcome throughout the years, to put faces with their weekly efforts to provide a welcoming environment for tye meetings. I onsidered the lack of participation a rude response.
This is as close as I was able to get to the bonfire. Walking across the uneven field to the bonfire site would be a sure invitation to another fall.
