I woke at 0345hrs. The temperature outdoors was 58°F.
Today is PTSD group meeting. day. I'm still following the advice I give to others which is why this blog contains so few links to other websites. "If it's outside of one's sphere of influence don't let it ruin your day." In other words turn off the television and don't wacth the news. After twenty some odd minutes of scaring the bejesus out of it's audience network newscasts broadcast a thirty second story that amounts to aint 'merica great. I understand that it needn't be a Soviet style thirty minutes of glorious reports of tractor production by patriotic workers. That would be equally a waste of the viewer's time. I don't have a soloution, but I find that since tuning out of broadcast journalism I'm calmer and sleep better at night.
In addition to the generosity of the women at church the veteran's PTSD meeting was very helpful this evening.
