For those so inclined, The Daily Office Morning Prayer.
That number isn't so bad when one considers the number of muffins and cup cakes I ate at church yesterday morning.

Today is Veteran's Day, a national holiday (banks, federal, state, county and local government offices, are closed and no there's no mail delivery). Without further comment I will say only that I don't celebrate national holidays.
At 0930hrs. There's a Gecko somewhere in the house. S/He must have snuck in when I was bringing in an order from Walmart on Saturday. He was first noticed by Mr. Mistoffelees that evening at the top of the front door frame. Neither he nor I have the energy or speed to catch him so he's welcome to stay until, one day, I find his shrivled up carcass when vacuuming. I saw the little guuy this morning on the mail table next to the front door. He scurried off under the record cabinet as soon as I noticed him - or he noticed me.
At 0953hrs, As with most home electronics the remote for the inexpensive Bluray player I bought a couple of years ago has stopped working, not completely, just the menu and "home" buttons. As it's not critical to my survival or mental health, I'll wait until I see one for sale on a clearance table to get a replacement. Let's just hope Bluray players haven't gone the way of VCRs And DVD players.
