For those so inclined The Daily Office, Morning Prayer, Thursday after the Third Sunday of Easter, Dame Julian of Norwich, c. 1417
I woke after ten hours of sound sleep.
The weather forecast.
Oh! So close, just one point over target.

Geezer Breakfast Day has beebn replaced with Geezer Lunch Day. Ronnies' wife Cecile will be her with Ronnie at 1030hrs and we'll go to Costco in Pearland to get Ronnies' hearing aids. We'll go to lunch at the Tex-Mex restaurant next to Costco. I'm not sure I want to renew my Costco membership, which I haven't used since 2012. It was worth it when my brother Don was still able to get out of the house and drive. Back then we would go there at least once or twice a month.
We ate at JIMMY CHANGAS next to Costco. I must have walked at least a mile trying to find cat food they don't carry. I hope I walked enough to lesson the impact of the lunch I ate I'm sure will have an effect on my waistline.

I did buy enough Cheerios for a lifetime and a bag of walnuts, the remainder of which I can leave in my will. I was already too exhausted to find the huge bags of Sunsweet Raisins for the Cheerios. That's probably a good thing blood sugar-wise.

When i arrived hiome I took a nap and headed to Kroger for a tuna poboy and a diet Coke (bad Rooert, naughty Robert!) that I consumed in the parking lot of the parish house before the vestry meeting.  The Senior Warden, Michelle Townsend, conducted the meeting (with Fr. Preston on hand for payers) as Fr Travis was at his sons' soccer game. The attention he gives his sons sometimes makes me jealous. I had a father who couldn't bother to park the car at the train station to wait for the train and see me off wehen I was drafted. If I remember correctly he didn't even shake my hand.
But, I digress. Michelle also had family obligatiions so the meeting was blessingly short, which meant I was able to get home before 2000hrs and asleep in bed by 2100hrs.
