The Mercury started falling apart yesterday. After stopping in at Kroger for pastries on the way to church the oolant light came on in addition to the check engine light. It could be anythig from the thermostate to a leaking radiator. But, in addition to the jerking during shift changes and the vehicles age (twenty years) It's a toss up between continuing repair costs or payments, to include increased insurance premiums, on a recently used vehicle. Because Don left the Mercury to me in his will instead of transferring the title I can't use it as a trade in, maybe worth a hundred bucks, i'm shopping for a used vehicle ith payments less that $300.00 and a down payment of no more that $1,200.  😒
